2024 Holiday Mini-Sessions at RUNNING REINDEER RANCH!

This will be the ELEVENTH year that Running Reindeer Ranch and I have collaborated to offer Fairbanks short & sweet sessions to capture the ultimate holiday card picture. These are my favorite, because while they’re chock full of culturally salient holiday-ness (…no matter how they try, reindeer just cannot shed their association with Santa); these pictures are also quirky, relatively unusual, and a fantastic alternative to the uninspired, cookie-cutter family portraits of the past.  And it is SO much fun to introduce kids of any age to the RRR herd, up close and personal.

I hope 2024 is the year you will join us!  The ranch is located in the Goldstream Valley about 25 minutes from UAF. Sessions are a brisk and very productive up-to-15 minutes, which is the perfect length of time to meet the reindeer, snap some photos, and then hightail it out of there before anyone gets too chilly.  Each session includes your time in front of the camera, an online gallery, and five high resolution digital files + print release, for an inclusive fee of $250.  Advanced booking and a paid, non-refundable deposit of $100 are required. THE PRICE INCREASES TO $300 OCTOBER 30.

We are paperless! Once you have your session booked, you can expect to receive an electronic contract and an invoice for your balance via email, both of which are completed and returned online. You will also receive an extensive guide full of tips, instructions, and directions. Likewise, your gallery of finished images will be delivered to you via email.
